I have had to resynchronize agents frequently when a target server reboots unexpectedly. Is there a means to have the agent resync automatically when it gets blocked?

Server reboots should not cause the agent to be blocked. Are the agents running on a mounted file system? Best to file an SR and get your configuration checked.
