Oracle periodically certifies newer releases of application technology stack components to provide improved security, supportability, and access to new features. In a previous blog post, we introduced the roadmap for updating Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2 to the Next Generation Technology Stack.

What is the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Classic Technology Stack?
The Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Classic Technology Stack consists of the application technology stack codelevels that are built upon Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) 11g and Java Development Kit (JDK) 7.
The Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Classic Technology Stack can also be referred to as the Classic Tech Stack or simply Classic.
Refer to the following table for the release levels of the technology components that make up the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Classic Technology Stack.
