Steven,

Do you know if Linux x86-64 is certified with R12? If not, do you plan to do so?

Thanks,

Steve,
Do you see 10G Discoverer de-supported any time soon.

Thanks
Jay

Steve,
In my previous question about 10G discoverer de-support, I meant is 10G discoverer going to be de-supported on 11i platform any time soon?

Thanks.

Hi, Jay,

We respect the Discoverer 10g support dates. We will provide Premier Support for Discoverer 10g as long as the Fusion Middleware team provides Premier Support for that tool.

The Fusion Middleware team has recently updated their support plans for Oracle Application Server 10g. For details, see:

Premier Support Date Changed for Oracle Application Server 10gR2

As an aside, I'm in the process of setting up Discoverer 11g against an Oracle 11i EBS instance running SSL and I have to say, I find the documentation on enabling SSL for Discoverer 11g very lacking. Read 4 different manuals and none have any useful steps I've been able to locate.

I've had to open an SR and will eventually post the steps once I get everything working. This sort of thing would make a great my oracle support note if you have the ability to encourage that.

Thanks as always

Hi, Jay,

Thanks for your comments; I've forwarded them on to our Discoverer team. In theory, the generic Discoverer documentation for SSL should be applicable to E-Business Suite environments. If that's not the case, then this should be reported via your SR and escalated to the Discoverer team to resolve (with our assistance as needed).

Please let me know how this works out.

Regards,
Steven

Hi Steve,

When will OBIEE 11g be available for download? Is it same as Discoverer 11g?

Please provide the info.

Regards,

Jagdeep

Hi, Jagdeep,

OBIEE and Discoverer are different products.

All Fusion Middleware products can be downloaded here:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/index.html

I don't see OBIEE 11g listed yet (it was just released recently). You should monitor this page for updates.

Oracle Discoverer is part of Oracle Application Server 11g and can be downloaded here:

Hi Steve

Is OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 and the certified with Release 12.1.2 yet

regards

Paul

Hi, Paul,

Yes, it is. The OBIEE team certifies their own releases with the E-Business Suite as part of their exit criteria, so whenever they release a new version, it is considered certified with EBS.

Steven

Hi, Mark,

I've published a one-page summary of all of the latest E-Business Suite techstack certifications externally here:
