We are pleased to announce the certification of Oracle Active Data Guard 19c with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2. You may use Oracle Active Data Guard to offload some production reporting to run against the Oracle Active Data Guard database instance. For example, you can run selected Concurrent Manager reports against an Oracle Active Data Guard physical standby database instance.
Detailed steps for setting up Active Data Guard 19c with Oracle E-Business Suite are provided in the following document:
- Using Active Data Guard Reporting with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 and Database 19c (MOS Note 2608030.1)
In addition to Concurrent Manager, you may have other reporting tools that you would like to use with the Oracle Active Data Guard instance. In general, you should be able to use the reporting tool if it does not require write access to the Active Data Guard database instance.
