Web-based content in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 is supported by the Oracle Application Framework (also known as OA Framework, OAF, or FWK) user interface libraries and associated infrastructure. We periodically release OAF updates to fix performance, security, and stability issues.

These updates are provided in two formats: cumulative Release Update Packs (RUPs), and cumulative Bundle Patches (BPs) that can be applied on top of the RUPs. In this context, cumulative means that the latest RUP or BP includes all the updates released previously.

Who should apply this patch?

All Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.6 users should apply this patch. Future OAF patches for EBS Release 12.2.6 will require this patch as a prerequisite.

 

What’s new in this update?

OAF bundle patches are cumulative: they include all fixes released in previous bundle patches.

This latest patch also provides fixes for the following issues:

  • Product Branding item is missing under the page layout structure when Home Page mode is set to Framework Simplified.
  • Changing the search type property for a message LOV input from ‘StartWith’ to ‘Contains’ does not work as expected.
  • Any table column whose width was reduced by the user before a column freeze will have its width increased to beyond the original width if the LOV window is invoked from an advanced table.
  • Table size calculations during a Partial Page Rendering (PPR) event do not always take into account the current viewport size, with the result that tables are sometimes resized smaller than expected.
