As an update to our previous certification announcement, we are pleased to announce the certification of Oracle Data Guard 19c with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 when using logical host names. Oracle Data Guard is used to create a physical standby database for an Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 database. A physical standby database is a key component for a disaster recovery site for Oracle E-Business Suite.
When deploying a disaster recovery site for Oracle E-Business Suite, you may chose a configuration that uses either physical host names or logical host names. Refer to the following document for detailed instructions for creating your disaster recovery site when using logical host names:
- Business Continuity for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 on Oracle Database 19c Using Logical Host Names (MOS Note 2567092.1)
Note: Additional Database 19c certifications for Data Guard with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 and Active Data Guard for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 and 12.1 are currently planned and will be announced when available. You may monitor or subscribe to this blog for the latest in certification announcements.
