Per Microsoft (MS), end of life for Microsoft (MS) Internet Explorer (IE) 11 is effective June 15, 2022.  As an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) customer, you have multiple browsers to choose from that are certified with EBS.

What Do You Need To Do?

Oracle strongly recommends that EBS customers deploy a browser that is certified with Oracle E-Business Suite using Java Web Start by following the requirements in the My Oracle Support Knowledge documents:

The following products in EBS require ActiveX controls which are available with MS IE or IE Mode on MS Edge (Edge):

If you use either of the above listed products, we recommend that you use IE mode on Edge when accessing EBS.  We recommend that all other users in your organization access EBS via standard mode on Edge, or via any of the other browsers certified with EBS.

For more information regarding IE Mode on Edge with EBS, refer to the following:

What can EBS customers expect after June 2022?

When IE 11 reaches end of life in June 2022:

  •     Oracle Support will continue to assist, where possible, in investigating issues that involve IE 11.
  •     Oracle's ability to assist may be limited due to limited access to IE 11.
  •     Oracle will continue to provide access to existing EBS patches for IE 11 issues.
