We produce a lot of documentation for the E-Business Suite.  I’ve remarked in the past that I’m convinced that the challenge for EBS system administrators isn’t that the documentation is insufficient but rather that important information is spread out across multiple documents.  This drives people to create cookbooks that summarize information and procedures from multiple documents.

With that in mind, I am pleased to welcome Robert Farrington to this blog’s ever-growing panel of guest authors.  Robert is part of our Applications Technology Group documentation team, and I am sure that all of us will collectively benefit from his contributions to this blog.  Please feel free to share your thoughts with Robert about our EBS techstack-related documentation.

Robert Farrington joined Oracle in 1995. Initially working in Support, he covered the Oracle Database on UNIX and Windows, and assisted with development of several Oracle Database Server internals courses.

Moving to the Applications Technology Group in Oracle E-Business Suite Development, Robert edits My Oracle Support knowledge documents and contributes to some of the EBS books. From time to time he writes and presents papers at conferences and user group meetings.
