AD-TXK Delta 13: New Feature Highlight – Part II

We recently announced the availability of AD-TXK Delta 13. This is part two in a series of blog articles to highlight the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) System Schema Migration, a key new feature of AD-TXK Delta 13 and Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.11.

What are the Requirements to Complete the EBS System Schema Migration?

There are four requirements to complete the EBS System Schema Migration as follows:

1.    Apply AD-TXK Delta 13

The first requirement to complete the EBS System Schema Migration is to apply R12.AD.C.Delta.13 (Patch 32394134) and R12.TXK.C.Delta.13 (Patch 32392507).  

2.    Apply the EBS 12.2.11 Release Update Patch (RUP) or the EBS System Schema Migration Consolidated Patch

The second requirement to complete the EBS System Schema Migration is to apply EBS 12.2.11 (Patch 31856789) or if you are running EBS 12.2.3 through 12.2.10 you can apply the EBS System Schema Migration Consolidated Patch (Patch 31817501)

3.    Update Your Custom Code with Mandatory Compliance Requirements

The third requirement to complete the EBS System Schema Migration is to update your custom code with mandatory compliance requirements.  

There are 3 mandatory development standards for customizations to comply with in order to complete the EBS System Schema Migration.  It is estimated that the number of customizations that fall into this category is very low.

Note:  Applying the patches listed in requirements 1 and 2 will not impact your existing customizations.  

4.    Apply the EBS System Schema Migration Completion Patch

The fourth requirement to complete the EBS System Schema Migration is to apply the EBS System Schema Migration Completion Patch (Patch 32573930)
