The startCD updates are distributed to customers via My Oracle Support Patch which can be uncompressed on top of any previous 12.1 startCD under the main staging area. This patch replaces any previous startCDs.
What’s New in This Update?
This new startCD version 12.1.1.13 includes important fixes for Platform specific issues such as support for AIX 7.1, global inventory registration problems in AIX 6.1 Power 7 Systems and a reoccurring fix for a corrupted datafile included in the 12.1.1 media for Linux 64:
- 12725526 : RAPID INSTALL SUPPORT FOR AIX 7.1
- 10312267 : RAPID WIZARD DOES NOT REGISTER THE 11G ORACLE HOME IN ORAINVENTORY (AIX 6.1 POWER7)
- 11818745 : FIX FOR BUG 8625887 NOT IN STARTCD 12.1.1.11 (LINUX-64 BIT)
This release also contains fixes for the following issues:
- 9324196 : NEW OCM DOESN’T VALIDATE WHEN USERNAME IS BLANK AND PASSWORD IS FILLED.
- 9238157 : INCORRECT USER CAUSE ERROR STACK PRINT ON THE SERVER SCREEN
- 6857060 : RAPIDWIZ FAILS WITH DATABASE INSTALL DRIVER MISSING
- 5842386 : RAPIDWIZ FAILS TO VALIDATE UNIX USERS WHEN USING CONF FILE
