What’s New

This update introduces two enhancements that provide greater flexibility when deploying Oracle E-Business Suite Natural Language Query (NLQ), along with expanded implementation and troubleshooting guidance.

Flexible AI DB Deployment Options

Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB) is no longer required for the NLQ solution. This change simplifies deployment and gives you more flexibility to choose the architecture that best aligns with your business, technical, and security requirements.

Support for Customer-Selected Large Language Models

You can now select the Large Language Model (LLM) that best meets your organization’s needs, including:

  • Oracle AI services
  • Third-party cloud-hosted LLMs
  • Local on-premises LLM deployments

This enhancement allows you to align your NLQ deployment with existing AI strategies, security policies, data residency requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Expanded Troubleshooting and Implementation Guidance

The NLQ documentation has been updated with additional implementation recommendations and troubleshooting guidance based on customer feedback and field experience. These updates are designed to streamline deployments and help you more quickly identify and resolve common configuration issues.
