We are pleased to announce that E-Business Suite Release 12.2 with Oracle Database 19c is now certified with the database tier on Oracle Linux 9 (OL 9) and Red Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL 9) on the x86-64 bit architecture for on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Compute.
This is a database tier only certification (previously known as a split tier configuration). The EBS 12.2 application tier must run on a certified Oracle E-Business Suite platform such as Oracle Linux 8.
OL 9 and RHEL9 certification for the EBS application tier operating system is on our roadmap. This certification is dependent on our roadmap certification of the EBS 12.12. Next Generation Technology Stack.
