Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 (12.1.3) is now certified on Oracle Linux 7 (64-bit) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (64-bit).
Installations of the E-Business Suite 12.1 on these operating systems require the application of the 12.1 RUP 3 (12.1.3). Cloning of existing EBS 12.1.3 Linux environments to these operating systems is also certified using the standard Rapid Clone process.
There are specific requirements to upgrade technology components such as the Oracle Database (to 11.2.0.4 or 12.1.0.2) and Fusion Middleware components as necessary. Other requirements, known issues, patches needed, etc. are noted in the Installation and Upgrade Notes (IUN) below and must be reviewed and implemented.
Pending Certifications
Certification of EBS Release 12.2 is in progress and will be announced at a later time when completed.
Oracle’s Revenue Recognition rules prohibit us from discussing certification and release dates, but you’re welcome to monitor or subscribe to this blog. I’ll post updates here as soon as soon as they’re available.
