We have been fine-tuning the administration tools for E-Business Suite 12.2 via a series of regular updates to the Applications DBA (AD) and EBS Technology Stack (TXK) components:

- Set 2 – May 2014
- Set 3 – July 2014
- Set 4 – October 2014
- Set 5 – November 2014
- Set 6 – March 2015
- Set 7 – October 2015
- Set 8 – January 2016
We have now made available a ninth set of critical updates to AD (TXK is unchanged). If you are on Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2, we strongly recommend that you apply this new patch at your earliest convenience:

What’s New in this Patchset?
This patchset includes six important updates for the following issues:
- 22700342 – ADOP doesn’t allow cutover if standby database is detected
- 22861407 – Increase the variable size for L_PATCH_SERVICE in AD_ZD_ADOP
- 22777440 – Grant privileges only if required while splicing
- 22664007 – ORA-04068 error during patching
- 22503374 – Script to grant unlimited quota privileges on ‘SYSTEM’ tablespace
- 22530842/22567833 – Cannot drop table partition in run edition when patch edition exists
