I am pleased to announce availability of consolidated Patch 33168402:R12.OWF.C – ISG Consolidated Patch for 12.2 (21_4_3) for Oracle E-Business Suite Integrated SOA Gateway for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2. Oracle strongly recommends all EBS 12.2 Integrated SOA Gateway customers apply this set of updates.
This cumulative update includes all previously released ISG updates for EBS R12.2, plus fixes for stability and performance of the product. Specific fixes relate to generation and deployment of web service for certain complex PL/SQL APIs in EBS R12.2 with Database 19c.
Key Updates Included with this Patch
REST Service Invocation Framework
In earlier releases, you could invoke and consume SOAP based web service only. With this patch, you can invoke and consume REST based web service using REST Service Invocation Framework.
Enhanced Script REST Service Upgrade
If your Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3 is configured for Integrated SOA Gateway and, if you upgrade your E-Business Suite to R12.2, you are required to follow certain post-upgrade steps using ISG backend script. In earlier releases, the ISG backend script handled post-upgrade steps for SOAP based web services only. With this patch, the ISG backend script is enhanced to manage post-upgrade steps for REST based web services as well.
