Comments:

Howdy,

11.2.0.4 is not listed under the Certifications tab on support.oracle.com for these configurations.

Did someone forget a commit in their update statement. ; )

Hi,

There was some delay in uploading the certification information. Currently, Database and RAC options have been uploaded to certify. There is an issue uploading information for other Database options. We will upload the information as soon as this is rectified on Certify. Apologies for the inconvenience and thanks for the patience.

Regards,
Praad

Interoperability Notes EBS 12.0 and 12.1 with Database 11gR2 (Doc ID 1058763.1) stated that we have to install "Oracle Database 11g Products from the 11g Examples CD". What is the purpose of this? Can we skip it?

Thanks.

Hi guest,

Installing Oracle Examples CD is mandatory and it should not be skipped.

Hi,
In the context of a Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 implementation, we have the following question:
Can you tell us what is the Oracle certified solution to mount a Linux cluster in an active-passive mode:

1. We have a cluster with two nodes that uses a shared disk space.
2. The configuration of the nodes should be in High Availability in Active-Passive mode.
3. We want to call one virtual hostname, and the system will connect to the active phisical node.
We don't want to use neither RAC nor ASM.

Thanks

Hi, Xavier -

Certification of various features for E-Business Suite is documented on the pages Steven mentions in his blog.

Documentation of MAA (Maximum Availability Architecture) solutions can be found at:
http://www.oracle.com/goto/maa

From that page navigate to MAA Best Practices,
then to Oracle Applications Unlimited,
which brings you here (if this longer link displays correctly):
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/availability/oracle-applications-maa-155388.html

You will find that RAC and ASM and Data Guard are the keys to our documented best practices for local and remote HA/MAA.

It still looks like 12.2 is only certified with 11.2.0.3. I don't find any 11.2.0.4 version of the database patches needed for 12.2. Do you think the 11.2.0.4 patches will be available soon?

Thanks,
Jeff

Still no 11.2.0.4 for Windows x64 .... any idea when it might be released?

Posted by guest on October 21, 2013 at 06:57 PM PDT #

Jeff,

We're still working on the 11.2.0.4 Database certification with EBS 12.2. In the meantime, all EBS 12.2 users should use 11.2.0.3 instead.

Steven

Hello, Guest,

I'm afraid that we're not permitted to speculate about release dates. I hope that the Windows 11.2.0.4 port will be available soon.

Regards,
Steven

Steven,

I'm on the certifications tab at support.oracle.com and it shows 11.5.10.2 certified with RDBMS 11.2.0.4 64-bit - just a heads up as your certification page isn't showing this version as certified yet.

Thanks, Kevin.

I've been working through my staggering post-OpenWorld backlog. The Certifications page is updated with 11.2.0.4 and 12.1.0.1 certifications for both EBS 11i and 12.

Steven

Hi Steven,

Can you please confirm is Oracle Data Base Version 11.2.0.4.0 is certified for Oracle E-Business 12.1.3 on 'HP-UX Itanium 11.31 ?

As per your site, the certificate is pending for this configuration, so not sure if that is the latest information.

Also I am not able to find information under certificate related to my oracle apps version and OS.

Regards,
Suresh

Any idea when Oracle database 11.2.0.4 or 12.1 on Windows X64 will be certified with EBS 12.1.3?

Posted by guest on March 04, 2014 at 08:12 AM PST #

Hello guest -
The certifications of DB 11.2.0.4 and 12.1 on Windows x64 (2008 R2) are in progress for EBS R12. Oracle Revenue Recognition policies do not permit disclosure of future dates of certifications, but feel free to continue to monitor this blog or drop me a private email (john dot abraham at oracle dot com) and I can notify you when this is available.
Regards,
John
