Here’s a document that you can use to orientate yourself as you plan your move to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2. 
This document shows the three major paths that you can take to Release 12.2.  It provides a high-level overview of  the associated documents you will need to follow:

The document outlines the three major ways of getting to 12.2:

  • Scenario 1 – New installation
  • Scenario 2 – Upgrading From a Pre-12.2.0 Release to Release 12.2.4
  • Scenario 3 – Upgrading From Release 12.2.2 or 12.2.3 to Release 12.2.4

This Note has downloadable interactive flowcharts in PDF format with links to all of the referenced documents.  The latest EBS 12.2 update is EBS 12.2.4, which we recommend for all EBS 12.2 customers.  We’ll keep updating this Note as new updates are released for the EBS 12.2 base release.
