Oracle Traffic Director Certified with EBS 12.2 on Exalogic

I'm pleased to announce that Oracle Traffic Director 11gR1 ( is now certified with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 on Oracle Exalogic.

Oracle Traffic Director with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 on Exalogic may be configured as follows:
  • as a reverse proxy and load balancer
  • as a TLS accelerator and termination point
  • in DMZ configurations

You may also optionally utilize Oracle Traffic Director features such as content caching and HTTP compression.

    Is Oracle Traffic Director also supported as a S/W Load Balancer and Reverse Proxy for EBS without Exalogic? I mean as standard LB or DMZ setup for commodity box EBS MT instances.

    Thanks for the inquiry. Oracle Traffic Director (OTD) is currently only available on the Exalogic platform; therefore the certification of OTD with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 is limited to Exalogic.
