OpenWorld 2011 Presentations Available for Download

Steven Chan
Senior Director

All OpenWorld 2011 presentations are now available for download from the OpenWorld Content Catalog.  These presentations were restricted in previous years to OpenWorld attendees.  They're available to everyone this year!

I'll be highlighting specific sessions from the Applications Technology Group over the next few weeks on this blog, especially those that answer some of your detailed technical questions about our upcoming E-Business Suite 12.2 release.  Until then, you can browse this list of all of the sessions presented by our Applications Technology Group development team:

    Thanks Steven.

No need to mention ,this blog has been a great source of information for all of us.Thanks for keeping us abreast with the new updates.

By any chance ,are these sessions recorded and is the recording available for download.

Also ,since part 1 of webcast:Tuning all layers of Ebiz suite ,there has been no update on subsequent webcast on this topic.

Are these being planned or already done ?

    Thanks again

    Hello, Sumeet,

Thanks for the feedback on our blog. Glad to hear that you've found it useful.

As far as I'm aware, only keynotes are videotaped and made available publicly. I have not seen any references to session recordings.

We will be doing public webcasts of many of the Applications Technology Group's conference sessions. These will be aired under our ongoing "ATG Live Webcast" series. Watch this blog for details.

Our performance specialists have subsequent webcasts planned for their Tuning series. They're catching up on their post-OpenWorld backlog. Watch this blog for announcements about those follow-up sessions, coming soon.

    Hi, Syed,

Thanks for the feedback on our blog. Glad to hear that you've found it useful.

A good starting point is our official documentation:

In addition, I would recommend checking out the resources available here:

In particular, the R12 Oracle Applications Systems Administrator Fundamentals course is a very good place to start.

    Good luck with your development.

Can't get to the linked page for 2011 Openworld content catalog or downloads...is this still working?

  • Steven Chan Tuesday, March 13, 2012

    Hi, Edward,

I'm afraid that it appears that the OpenWorld organizers have taken the OpenWorld 2011 content offline now.

  • guest Thursday, March 15, 2012

First, thank you very much for you blog.

We, at University of Murcia, are very interested on the presentation entitled "Certified Configurations of Oracle ExaLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, BI and Oracle Fusion Apps" by Pavana Jain and Deborah Thompson, but the link is offline (https://oracleus.wingateweb.com/published/oracleus2011/sessions/16000/16000_Cho2397230.pdf).

Would you be so kind and tell us about an alternative link for that presentation?

    Thank's in advance.

    Hi Steven

The OpenWorld Content Catalog link does not seem to be active any longer. Can you maybe fix it?

  • jcharron Thursday, July 26, 2012

Yes, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE kindly fix the link...

  • Steven Chan Thursday, July 26, 2012

    Glen, JCharron,

I'm in E-Business Suite Development, not our conference management team. I'm afraid that I don't have any control over the availability of the OpenWorld 2011 presentations. It looks like the OpenWorld team has taken them down, so you'll have to wait until this year's OpenWorld sessions come online.
