I’m pleased to announce that Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Releases 12.2.3 (or later) and 12.1.3 are now certified on Microsoft Windows Server 2019 on x86-64.
Installations of EBS 12.2 on Windows Server 2019 require:
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 along with other required tools (please review References below)
- Application of specific patches to the latest startCD prior to running Rapid Install
- Application of product specific EBS patches
- Minimum release levels for technology components such as the Oracle Database
Cloning of existing EBS 12.2 and 12.1 environments on Windows to Windows Server 2019 is certified using the standard Rapid Clone process as are in-place OS upgrades to Windows Server 2019.
All requirements, known issues, unsupported products, etc. are noted in the Installation and Upgrade Notes (IUN) for EBS 12.2 and the Migration Note for EBS 12.1 referenced below.
The Certifications tab (‘Certify’) on My Oracle Support (https://support.oracle.com) is in the process of being updated with this information.
