Microsoft Edge (Chromium) v83 and later releases are now certified as a client browser for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 and 12.1.3. Microsoft Edge (Chromium) versions 83 and later releases are scheduled to be released every six to eight weeks and are considered certified for Oracle E-Business Suite upon release.
Microsoft Edge (Chromium) v83 and later releases are certified for both Oracle E-Business Suite web-based (OA Framework/HTML) and Oracle Forms/Java-based interfaces provided the minimum requirements for deployment are met. Since Microsoft Edge (Chromium) does not support plug-ins, you must migrate to Java Web Start to use Forms-based content in EBS.

Impact of Cookies Defaulting to SameSite=Lax

The new SameSite behavior change delivered with Microsoft Edge (Chromium) may impact Oracle E-Business Suite iProcurement Punchout functionality. For EBS 12.2 and 12.1 you may enable the SameSite Cookie Attribute or apply additional patches to ensure that iProcurement Punchout continues to function as expected.
