Beginning on May 11th 2025, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) patches for Release 12.2 on Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) will be built on an updated operating system (Windows Server 2016) and tools versions. If you plan to patch or upgrade your EBS 12.2 environments after May 11th, you must meet all the operating systems and other requirements prior to applying new patches generated after
this date.
We are announcing this now to give you time to prepare and to be compliant with all requirements for EBS 12.2 patches generated after this May 11th 2025 date.
Please review the documents in the references section of this blog article which includes all new requirements pertaining to Windows x64 (64-bit).
