Is 11i (11.5.10.2 + ATG PF.H RUP 6 and higher) going to be certified with AIX 7.1

I believe DB 11.2.0.1 is already certified

    Hi M K -

No, we don't have any plans to certify AIX 7 with EBS 11i which is now in Extended Support - we typically only undertake new OS certifications for releases that are in Premier Support, so only R12 is being considered/planned.

    John

    Hi

Do you have any plans to certify EBS 11.5.10 and Oracle DB 10.2.0.4 running in HPUX 11.31 based 100% in Integrity/Itanium2 platform ?

If not can we consider running EBS 11.5.10 in HPUX 11.31 (PA RISC ) and DB 10.2.0.4 in HPUX 11.31 ( Integrity/Itanium2) as a supported environment by Oracle ?

    Thanks in advance

For EBS11i, only the database tier is certified on HP-UX Itanium. There are no plans to support EBS 11i application tier on HP-UX Itanium.

You can run EBS in a split-configuration with 11.5.10.2 (application tier) on HP-UX 11.31 (PA-RISC) and DB 10.2.0.4 on HP-UX 11.31 (Itanium). Note that this is 11.5.10.2 only (11.5.10 is not certified in this configuration).

Also note that DB 10.2.0.4 is already in Extended Support. DB 11.1.0.7 and 11.2.0.1 are also currently certified for use on HP-UX Itanium 11.31 (database tier) with 11.5.10.2.

is 11.5.10.2 certified with HP-UX 64bit ? if so from where can I download the software ?

    Hi, Guest,

Yes, EBS 11i is certified on HP-UX PA-RISC (64-bit) (11.11, 11.23, 11.31). You can download 11.5.10.2 from My Oracle Support via Patch 3480000.

    Regards,

    Steven

Is there no direct release for 11.5.10.2 on HP-UX 64bit ? should I only go via the upgrade method ?

I actually need 12.0.4 for HP-UX 64bit. I could not find the s/w so was planning to upgrade from 11.5.10.2. Is there a better way to get 12.0.4 on HP-Ux 64bit ?

    Hi, Guest,

Rapid Install releases of both 11i and 12.0.4 are no longer being distributed. I would recommend starting with the 12.1.1 Rapid Install and upgrading to 12.1.3. You can find the HP-UX PA-RISC (64-bit) media on eDelivery.oracle.com.

    Regards,

    Steven
