Additional platforms for our 11.1.0.6 Database certifications keep coming, even as we work in parallel on our upcoming certification of the first 11.1.0.7 Database patchset. Our Applications Platforms Group has now certified Oracle E-Business Suite
Release 12 (12.0.4 or higher) with Oracle Database Server 11gR1 version 11.1.0.6 on Microsoft Windows x64 (Windows Server 2003). This is the first “database-tier only” certification of R12 with 11gR1.
This is a database-tier only certification (previously known as a “split configuration” certification in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i), where the application tier must be on a fully-certified EBS R12 operating system platform.
What’s Next?
Our teams are in the final stages of the certification of the 11.1.0.7 Database patchset with Apps R12. I don’t have firm schedules for this certification yet, but you’re welcome to monitor or subscribe to this blog for updates, which I’ll post as
