[Nov 15 2010 Update:  11gR2 11.2.0.2 is now certified; see this article for details] [Dec 29, 2009 Update: Removed erroneous references to SLES 9 and specific Solaris versions] I’m very pleased to announce that the 11gR2 Database version 11.2.0.1 is certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 versions 12.0 and 12.1. Existing Apps 12 environments currently running Oracle 10g Release 2 (10.2.0) or Oracle 11g Release 1 (11.1.0) may be upgraded to the 11gR2 Database.

Pending Platform Certifications Certifications for the following operating system platforms are still pending:

Database Feature and Option Certifications The following 11gR2 11.2.0.1 database options are supported for use with Apps 12: Certification of the following database options and features is still underway:
  • Database Vault 11gR2 version 11.2.0.1
  • Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) Tablespace Encryption 11gR2 version 11.2.0.1
