It looks like this is the Year of the Hypervisor. The whole industry seems abuzz with talk of server virtualization. One of the most intriguing announcements at OpenWorld this week: Oracle is entering the server virtualization space with the availability of Oracle VM, based on the open source Xen hypervisor.

- Applications Technology (ATG) 11i.ATG_PF.H.RUP5 (patch 5473858) or later
- Oracle Database 10.2.0.3 or later
- Oracle Developer6i Patchset 18 (6.0.8.27.x) or later
- Desktop clients running Oracle JInitiator 1.3.1.28 or later
- Linux x86 platforms

- Oracle Database 10.2.0.3 or later
