Our Applications Platforms Group continues to round out our certification matrix for the 10.2.0.4 Database and specific platform combinations. They certified Apps 11i with RHEL and SLES 9 and 10 and the 10.2.0.4 Database on Linux Itanium earlier this
year. This week they announced that Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i (11.5.10.2) is certified with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 on Linux Itanium with the 10.2.0.4 Database.
This is a database tier-only certification (also known as a “split configuration”). The application tier must be on a supported Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i operating system platform.
