Computerworld reports that Firefox 2.0 is expected to get two more updates before it is officially retired at the end of this year. After that
time, Firefox 3 will be the only Mozilla release to receive patches and updates.
Our certification of Firefox 3 on Windows-based desktops connecting to the E-Business Suite is currently underway. While this certification is going well overall, we have identified a few issues that require updates to our OA Framework UIX
layer. Our Applications Technology Group is working on those fixes right now. I expect that we’ll release our Firefox 3 certification for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i and 12 once we’ve had a chance to test these latest patches.
You’re welcome to monitor or subscribe to this blog for updates, which I’ll post as soon as soon as they’re available.
