The Server Technologies division supports the previous release for 12 months after the release of the latest patchset.  The 11.2.0.2 Database patchset was released in Sept 2010.  This means that 11gR2 Database patches produced after September 13, 2011 will require the 11.2.0.2 patchset as a prerequisite.  For more details about patching timelines for individual database patchsets, see: If you’re not already on 11.2.0.2, we recommend that all Apps customers make plans for a database upgrade soon.

No support exceptions for EBS users
