Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 is already certified with the 10gR2 10.2.0.4 database for several platforms. Our Applications Platforms Group continues to certify additional platforms on a regular basis. They have just completed their certification of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 versions 12.0.4 and 12.1.1 with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008 for x64 (64-bit) platforms.
Prerequisites
You should review the system requirements from the relevant Oracle Database 10gR2 documentation (Installation Guide, Release Notes, Upgrade Guide) prior to installing the database on these platforms.
These are database-tier only certifications (previously known as "split configurations" in Apps 11i). The application tier must be on a fully-certified Oracle E-Business Suite R12 platform.

I recently went onto the new Oracle Support site to try and get some certification information for 10gR2 releases against Solaris SPARC(64 bit) but that information seems to have gone missing since the move.

Hello, Ian,
Can you provide details about the navigation path and the specific query that you used on My Oracle Support's new Certification page that resulted in a null query? I'd like to chase this down with our platforms team.
Regards,
Steven

I have logged a non-technical SR on this (3-1126348461), which has two workarounds suggested:
1/ Select 32 bit version of the platform - does not work as only returns results for 64-bit versions of 9i and 10g, no 10gR2.
2/ Log an SR each time I want a certification - not the quickest or most flexible of workarounds.

Quick update:
SR has effectively been closed, been advised to email certification team directly to find out if it is a known bug.
Apparently it is, as "Data Migration went to the 32 bit Solaris instead of 64-bit" but not timescales to fix the issue. I have pointed out to them that 10gR2 is missing from the 32 bit Solaris certifications as well and I am now waiting for a response to that point.

Hi, Ian,
I don't fully understand the root cause of this, but I've asked our Certify database administrator to look into this for you. If there are any other updates, I'll post them here.
Regards,
Steven
