Oracle Database@AWS 

Oracle Database@AWS—one of the flagship offerings in our multicloud strategy—enables customers to run Oracle Database services directly within Amazon Web Services (AWS). This offering became generally available in early July 2025.  

With Oracle Database@AWS, customers can deploy mission-critical workloads on Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure and Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure — all running within AWS data centers. Customers benefit from the proven performance, security, and availability of Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), combined with the resiliency and scalability of AWS infrastructure. 

Oracle Database@AWS Architect Professional certification and course 

Oracle University is committed to empowering individuals and organizations eager to get skilled on Oracle Database@AWS. We’re excited to introduce the Oracle Database@AWS Architect Professional certification and accompanying course, which is designed for database administrators, solution and multicloud architects, and cloud engineers.  

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: 

• Understand Oracle Database@AWS architecture and core features. 
• Become proficient in onboarding, provisioning, and managing Oracle Database@AWS resources. 
• Design and configure networking, DNS and topology for Oracle Database@AWS. 
• Execute migration workflows using Oracle Zero Downtime Migration solutions.  
• Deliver advanced data-loss protection and cyber resiliency using Zero Data Loss Oracle Autonomous Recovery Service.  
• Implement effective security, compliance, and identity management strategies. 
• Design High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions for Oracle Database@AWS.  
• Apply best practices for Oracle Database@AWS covering security, reliability and resilience, performance and cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

Oracle Database@AWS Architect Professional certification exam 

After completing the course, you’ll have the opportunity to validate your skills with a professional-level certification exam. The 90-minute exam includes 50 multiple-choice questions, with a required passing score of 68%. The exam covers the following objectives:
