Oracle’s expanded partnership with Google Cloud brings Gemini models to Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications—giving CX teams greater flexibility to select the right model for each AI use case. Oracle’s announcement says Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite and Gemini 3.5 Flash are planned for use alongside other leading models available through the platform.

For CX organizations, however, model choice is only part of the story.

The real opportunity comes from pairing advanced AI models with the enterprise platform and first-party data that give AI meaningful business context. Customer interactions, service histories, sales opportunities, campaign engagement, account relationships, orders, and operational signals should not remain fragmented across disconnected tools. When these signals are brought together in Fusion, AI agents can reason with a more complete understanding of the customer and the business behind every interaction.

That is what Oracle brings to the table: a unified platform where AI can connect to trusted enterprise data, work across marketing, sales, service, and adjacent business functions, and operate through governed workflows, approvals, and transactions.

Partnerships such as this one add an important dimension: flexibility. CX leaders should be able to use the model best suited to the task—whether they are optimizing for price-performance, advanced reasoning, or multimodal experiences—without needing to re-platform their data, security, governance, or workflows each time the AI landscape evolves.

With Oracle AI Agent Studio and Fusion Agentic Applications, organizations can build agents that do more than generate answers. They can help teams identify the next best action, coordinate work across functions, personalize engagement using first-party context, and securely execute the processes that move customer outcomes forward.

The future of CX AI is not about committing to one model.

It is about giving organizations the freedom to choose the best intelligence for the moment—while keeping that intelligence grounded in their customer data, enterprise processes, and trusted platform.
