Since January 2017, Oracle Solaris 11 follows a Continuous Delivery model[1], delivering new functionality as updates to the existing release. This means you are not required to upgrade to gain access to new features and capabilities. Oracle Support provides support for Oracle Solaris 11 through at least 2031 under Oracle Premier Support and Extended Support through 2034. These dates will be evaluated annually for updates.
