“The consulting team is chiefly responsible for understanding the client’s requirements and addressing gaps so that the solution or product that has been sold will meet our client’s needs,” she explains. This work helps her, “build a relationship that’s founded on proven good faith and trust” with customers.

Delving deeper into the important impact her team has on Oracle’s overall success as a company, Frances shares, “Every implementation consultant has to play the base role of being a good analyst. Technology is progressing at skyrocketing speed so the use of technology and benefits of technology in hospitality, opens up high revenue earning opportunities and more positive experiences for hotel guests. Consequently, we ensure that the customer gains the maximum benefit out of their investment in our product.”

Her role at Oracle hasn’t just opened her eyes to the endless possibilities in the world of technology. It has allowed her to explore corners of the world she never imagined she’d get to and has instilled a newfound confidence as a female working in tech.

She says, “Joining Oracle, I’ve had the opportunity to work across many different hotels in different countries which has also greatly impacted my knowledge on the tech industry. I gained skills I never knew I’d learn. The advantages of having technical skills has profoundly changed my view of my future self. A career in Oracle is as endless as technology is.”

As well as crossing state lines, she enjoys the support and drive for an inclusive, diverse workforce that’s ingrained in the culture at the company.
