Announcing Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU19

We've just released SRU 19 for Oracle Solaris 11.4. It is available via 'pkg update' from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from My Oracle Support Doc ID 2433412.1.

This SRU introduces the following enhancements:

  • Explorer 20.1 is now available
  • meson has been added to Oracle Solaris 11.4
  • Deliver idna for Python 3.7
  • Deliver Django 2.2 LTS for Python 3.7
  • Add support for SHA2 auth algorithms for SNMP
  • auditd dumps core in audit_syslog:gethname
  • New Python packages have been added:
    • colorama
    • wcwidth
    • pyperclip
    • Automat
    • constantly
    • PyHamcrest
    • hyperlink
    • incremental python
  • cmd2 has been updated to 0.9.13
  • pyparsing has been updated version 2.4.0
  • WebOb has been updated to 1.8.5
  • Cython has been updated to 0.29.14
  • idna has been updated to 2.8
  • mysqlclient has been updated to 1.4.5

The following components have also been updated to address security issues:

  • git has been updated to 2.19.3
  • libarchive has been updated to 3.4.1
  • python 3.5 has been updated 3.5.9
  • python 3.7 to version 3.7.5
  • Twisted has been updated to 18.9.0
  • Django 1.11 has been updated to 1.11.27
  • Django 2.2 has been updated to 2.2.9
  • ruby 2.5 has been updated to 2.5.7
  • ruby 2.6 has been updated to 2.6.5
  • psutil has been updated to 5.6.7
  • Pillow has been updated to 7.0.0
  • PHP has been updated to 7.3.14
  • Firefox has been updated to 68.5.0esr
  • Thunderbird has been updated to 68.5.0
  • proftpd
