Whether you’re exploring AI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Multicloud, or Oracle Data Platform, this global learning and certification challenge is your chance to gain valuable skills—and earn free professional certification exam attempts along the way.

Choose Your Track

This year, Race to Certification 2025 features four learning tracks:

• OCI
• Multicloud
• AI
• Data

You can follow a single track or mix and match certifications from multiple tracks—it’s entirely up to you.

How It Works

Here’s how Race to Certification 2025 is structured:

1. Get started with two free OCI Professional exam attempts when you enroll.
2. Progress through three levels—Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3.
3. At each level, complete specific learning and certification tasks to unlock additional exam attempts.
4. You can use these attempts toward the certifications that are a part of the promotion at no cost.
5. The challenge runs from July 1 at 12:00 a.m. GMT to October 31 at 11:59 p.m. GMT.

Earning Free Certification Exam Attempts

Complete all three levels and earn up to 3 free OCI Professional exam attempts with one exam attempt valid until Oct 31, 2026.

Learning Paths: Beginner vs. Advanced Scenarios

Let’s explore how different learners can benefit from Race to certification 2025.

Beginner Scenario

If you’re new to Oracle Cloud, start with our always-free Foundations certifications:

• Enroll in Race to Certification 2025 and receive 2 free Professional exam attempts.
• Level 1: Complete the OCI Foundations course and certification. Earn 1 more exam attempt (total: 3).
• Level 2: Complete the AI Foundations course and exam. Earn 1 more exam attempt (total: 4).
• Level 3: Complete two more courses and exams—perhaps Oracle Data Platform Foundations (always free) and one Professional-level exam. Use one of your attempts here.
• Earn 1 more exam attempt (valid through Oct 31, 2026). Now you have 3 remaining attempts valid through Oct 31, 2025.

This path lets you get certified in OCI, AI, Data Foundations, and up to three Professional certifications of your choice. And remember, you have one more exam attempt available until Oct 31, 2026.

Advanced Learner Scenario

If you’re already familiar with OCI, go straight for the Professional-level certifications:

• Enroll and receive 2 free professional exam attempts.
• Level 1: Complete one Professional course and pass the exam. Earn 1 more exam attempt (total: 2 available).
• Level 2: Repeat for one more Professional course and exam. Earn another attempt (still total: 2 available).
• Level 3: Complete two more Professional courses and exams using your available attempts. Earn 1 more attempt (valid until Oct 31, 2026).

By the end, you’ll have completed 4 Professional certifications across any combination of OCI, AI, Multicloud, or Data. You can also complete the free Foundations certifications at any time. And remember, you have one more exam attempt available until Oct 31, 2026.

These are just example pathways—you have full flexibility to chart your own learning journey.

Gain Special Recognition

By the end of the promotion, the top 500 individuals who successfully complete Levels 1, 2, and 3 with the most number of certifications, fastest times, and highest pass scores will receive:

• 2 exam attempts valid until October 31, 2026

• A Top 500 Winner digital achievement promotion kit

• An OU Learning Community Top 500 digital badge

• A ranking on the Race to Certification 2025 Leaderboard

How to Get Started

1. Register for Race to Certification 2025 by clicking the Join the Race button.
   • Log in with your Oracle SSO credentials (or create a free account).
   • Once logged in, click Activate to enroll in the promotion.

     

2. Browse the curated list of learning paths and certifications on the promotion page.

   

    

3. Begin training and certifications to progress through Levels 1, 2, and 3.
4. After completing each level, you’ll receive a digital promotion kit to help you share your success on social media.
