As part of their three-year collaboration, Oracle Academy and TASK recently held a two-day boot camp on March 12-13, 2026. More than 50 faculty members from Telangana, India, institutions attended this impactful event, with sessions focused on Oracle technologies: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Database, Oracle APEX and Oracle NetSuite.

Such collaborations provide an excellent opportunity for staff to interact with faculty members in person and bring Oracle technologies along with the Oracle Academy curriculum under one roof. This boot camp showcased a wide range of resources and helped educators gain a better understanding of various technologies and the free teaching and learning resources available to them. In turn, the faculty can take back the knowledge and learnings from the boot camp to their institutions, empowering students with exposure to Oracle technologies and career-ready knowledge and skills.

From Oracle Academy, Anuradha Sharma, Head of South Asia, opened the event with an impactful speech and interaction with the faculty. Neema M., Oracle Academy Program Manager, gave them a guided tour of Oracle Academy in an orientation session.

Next, the Oracle technologies sessions began with the Oracle APEX Product team, including Apoorva Srinivas and Toufiq Mohammed, Principal Product Managers, Oracle APEX; and Ankita Beri and Sahana Manavalan, Senior Product Managers, Oracle APEX; under the guidance of Chaitanya Koratamaddi, Director of Product Management/Strategy, Oracle APEX, and Santhosh Kumar, Senior Manager, Product Management, Oracle APEX. The team introduced educators to both Oracle Database and Oracle APEX, providing them with a tour and how they can use the technologies for teaching and learning.

On the second day, educators learned about Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with an overview by Sridhar Murala, Sr. Director of Development and Chandrakanth Putha, Oracle AI Database Product Manager. In the last session of the day, Ankit Jain, Sr. Business Manager, and Mithilesh provided an overview on Oracle NetSuite.
