Ghabbour Foundation https://ghabbourfoundation.org/ is a non-profit organization established under the Egyptian Ministry of Solidarity with the mission of affecting positive economic and social development in Egypt by bridging the gap between the quality of vocational education in Egypt, on one hand, and industry needs for skilled workers on the other hand as well as modifying the perception of the community towards it.
Ghabbour Foundation’s approach to providing quality education benchmarked against international standards is fulfilled by working with international institutions specialized in vocational education and technical training applying the dual education system that helps the student connect theoretical studies to practical training.
The Foundation continuously works on the development of trainers and teachers in schools in terms of applying pedagogical and modern teaching techniques. This is based on its strong belief in the importance of work and study in a healthy and positive atmosphere.
The Foundation and its core initiatives seek to increase the country’s workforce skill level that will allow them to pursue rewarding careers in high-need industries.
Through this partnership, Ghabbour Foundation aims to expand its academic offering to include an IT track specialized in programming of websites and applications to meet the rising demand for skilled technicians in this sector which also converges with the future trends in the automotive industry, complementing its existing program in that sector. To this end, Oracle Academy mapped its Data Base Courses to the schools IT courses and is offering GF the curriculum and educational resources which will help achieve this goal.
Danny Gooris, Senior Director Oracle Academy said “Oracle Academy is thrilled to partner with the Ghabbour Foundation to ignite the passion for technology in young minds. Together, we are committed to equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to drive innovation and succeed in the digital world”
