Oracle Academy presented at the Code Innovators Festival 2026, hosted by Tech Kidz Africa at Khadija Comprehensive School in Mombasa, Kenya on June 13, 2026. The national event brought together approximately 1,000 learners and educators from more than 50 schools, providing a platform for young people to showcase innovative technology solutions, celebrate creativity, and strengthen Kenya’s pipeline of future ready digital talent.
As part of the festival, Oracle Academy delivered a session on Java, introducing educators and students to programming concepts and resources to help them continue developing their coding skills beyond the event. Participants also learned about Oracle Academy’s Database Foundations curriculum, which introduces foundational database concepts and helps learners understand how data is stored, organized, managed, and queried.
The session reflected Oracle Academy’s commitment to supporting educators and students with free technology education resources and practical learning opportunities that helped prepare young people for an increasingly digital economy.
