Oracle Academy participated at the National Mentoring Day’s Virtual Conference, which aims to continue the legacy of Nelson Mandela through volunteerism. It was a powerful demonstration of collective action in youth development.

The highlight was the Impact Series, a collaborative initiative featuring volunteer mentors and partner organizations including ICS Africa, Oracle Academy, Studentpreneur Africa Network, Ghana Think Foundation, Blossom Academy, Girls’ Education Initiative of Ghana, and National Youth Authority.

Together, these partners directly engaged over 900 participants, delivering mentorship, skills development, and inspiration. The event not only celebrated mentorship and volunteerism but also reinforced a shared commitment to inclusive growth and opportunity for young people across Ghana.

This celebration marked a pivotal step toward an ambitious goal: mentoring 1 million youth and startups by 2030. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, this vision seeks to empower the next generation, ensuring no one is left behind.

At the end of 2025, the Mentorship and Volunteerism Excellence Awards celebrated individuals, groups, and organizations that have demonstrated passion and commitment to mentorship and volunteerism through contributions to their communities, country, and the continent.

Oracle Academy was awarded the ‘Innovation for Learning Impact’ award in recognition of the program’s outstanding commitment to transforming education across Africa through innovative technology solutions and comprehensive learning programs.

Bekere Amassoma, Oracle Academy Program Manager, received the award on behalf of Oracle Academy at the event, held at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, Accra, Ghana.
