Faculty and students from Middlesex University, Mauritius, participated in an industry visit and workshop hosted by an Oracle partner, Spoon Consulting, in collaboration with Oracle Mauritius, Oracle Academy, and the IEEE Student Branch, where they explored how Oracle Cloud, AI, and Oracle APEX are used to build and integrate real-world applications.

The session, which was facilitated by Oracle Academy Ambassadors Nilesh Jankee and Rahul Sharma, focused on the theme “Build, Integrate, Innovate: The Power of Oracle Infrastructure & AI.” The workshop introduced students to the use of Oracle Cloud, AI services, and Oracle APEX to build and integrate applications. Participants observed how cloud and AI solutions are deployed in industry environments and had the opportunity to engage with technology professionals who work on enterprise-level systems.

Students also had the opportunity to ask questions, discuss career pathways, and understand the skills required for roles in cloud technology and application development. The visit provided practical exposure to industry practices and modern development tools.
