Recently the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications of Mongolia held a successful meeting with Oracle, where the discussion focused on potential collaboration. The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). As part of its “Digital First” policy, Mongolia introduced its National Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Strategy; ver the next five years, the Government will implement 66 projects and measures under the four strategic objectives outlined in the policy.
The second objective focuses on “establishing an ethical and responsible AI ecosystem based on strong public-private collaboration.” To advance this objective, Mongolia has joined Oracle’s Skills Development Initiative, marking the start of a new collaboration with one of the world’s leading technology companies.
Through this collaboration, more than 60,000 public sector employees, including teachers, doctors, and other civil servants—along with citizens across the country, will receive free access to industry-leading training programs and digital learning platforms offered through Oracle Academy and Oracle University.
This initiative will provide young people with valuable opportunities to apply data and AI in their daily lives and develop competitive skills in artificial intelligence, database technologies, data management, data security, and information technology, enhancing their readiness for the modern workforce. It will also play a key role in strengthening digital literacy across the broader population.
The collaboration represents a strategic and important step in advancing Mongolia’s digital development and technological transformation, reinforcing a sustainable and long-term collaboration with a global technology leader
