Over at the $HOME edition, I’ve written about Collections, a feature of Solaris Analytics which provide a useful shorthand way of gathering statistics. The Dashboard app, in particular, makes use of Collections.
I also write about partitions (which allow us to deconstruct aggregated statistics), slices (which allow us to select specific statistics from a group), and some of the operators that we provide to make it easier for the user to find changes in what has been recorded.
