IBM MQ (formerly IBM WebSphere® MQ) Version 8.0 support on Oracle Solaris Cluster 4.4

We are happy to announce the support of IBM MQ (formerly IBM WebSphere® MQ) Version 8.0 on Oracle Solaris Cluster 4.4.

The HA for IBM WebSphere MQ data service provides a mechanism for the orderly startup and shutdown, fault monitoring, and automatic failover of the IBM MQ service within the global zone or a zone cluster.

For IBM MQ versions 8.0.0.10 and below, isalist package must be installed on Oracle Solaris 11.4 before installing IBM MQ.

Use the pkg set-publisher command to configure an appropriate publisher. Install the isalist package using the pkg install command.

$ pkg install isalist
