We’ve just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU71. It is available via ‘pkg update’ from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from My Oracle Support Doc ID 2433412.1.

Some of the noteworthy improvements in this SRU include:
  • Explorer 24.3 is now available
  • Reintroduced libffi 3.2.1

The following components have been updated to address security issues:

  • Unbound to 1.20.0
  • Jinja2 to 3.1.4
  • Apache Web Server to 2.4.59
  • git to 2.39.4
  • libarchive to 3.7.4
  • PHP to 8.3.8
  • Firefox to 115.12.0esr
  • Thunderbird to 115.12.0
  • python-mod/django, utility/python & utility/gnu-indent
