Over the last year, with the input from the HR Customer Focus Group – we have been working on one of our biggest enhancements – the Modernization of Job Data!!!
In HCM, Job Data is the most important component since all employee’s job data transactions and employment history is stored in Job Data like employee’s current work location or last salary increase. Since Job Data is the foundation to PeopleSoft HCM, critical information for Benefits, Position Management, Payroll, Absence Management and Time & Labor is entered in Job Data.
For the past several years, we have been modernizing and making the user experience better for the end users like employees and managers. These end users make up the majority of users but they may access PeopleSoft once a month to enter or approve timesheets, but an HR Administrator accesses Job Data everyday to perform their job duties. We want to give the HR Administrator that modern experience with fluidizing Job Data, starting with delivering new fluid tile – Manage Human Resources.

And another new fluid tile – Manage Job to access the Job Data component.
