BLUEPRINT 4D 2026 was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the PeopleSoft community and share how PeopleSoft HCM, Learning, and HR HelpDesk continue evolving through technology updates, modernizing the user experience, reducing administrative complexity, and delivering customer requested enhancements.
At the PeopleSoft HCM, Learning, and HR HelpDesk Update and Roadmap session at BLUEPRINT 4D we reinforced a clear message: PeopleSoft continues to deliver meaningful value for customers who depend on it to run critical workforce operations worldwide.
Customers Continue to Innovate with PeopleSoft HCM
One of the most exciting parts of the roadmap session was recognizing the 2026 PeopleSoft HCM Innovators this year. These customers are using PeopleSoft to modernize, streamline operations, and support business transformations. Read the PeopleSoft HCM 2026 Innovators blog for more information.
Technology Continues to Fuel Modernization
A major theme of BLUEPRINT 4D was how PeopleTools and PeopleSoft technology continue to power a more modern PeopleSoft experience.
PeopleSoft is already delivering foundational capabilities such as the new PeopleSoft Landing Page, Notification Publisher, sectionalized dashboards, WorkCenters, Customization Insights, and Smart Prompts/Drop Downs. These capabilities help customers deliver more guided, personalized, and productive experiences across PeopleSoft applications.
The two standout features are the new PeopleSoft Landing Page and Notification Publisher which are the cornerstone of the new modern user experience in PeopleSoft. The PeopleSoft Landing Page provides a configurable, single home page experience. Delivered sections such as Welcome, Suggestions, Continue With, Announcements, Quick Access, My Work, Team, Recently Visited, Favorites, and Favorite Searches help organizations create a modern experience without starting from scratch. Notification Publisher helps organizations deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time. With support for email, in-app notifications, SMS, and Landing Page section delivery methods, Notification Publisher gives organizations more flexibility to communicate important updates, reminders, alerts, and actions to their users. Together, the PeopleSoft Landing Page and Notification Publisher help guide users to the right information and right work, faster.
Looking ahead, PeopleSoft is investing in new technology and framework capabilities such as Natural Language Assistant, semantic search, typo tolerance, and the Taskflow Monitor Framework. These roadmap items are designed to help customers improve search, simplify user interaction, support AI enablement, and provide better visibility into critical business processes in HR and Payroll.

Modern Experiences for Employees, Managers, Administrators, and Applicants
PeopleSoft HCM, Learning, and HR HelpDesk continue to modernize the experience for employees, managers, and administrators.
For employees, recently delivered capabilities include modern self-service experiences such as US Paycheck Modeler, Tuition Reimbursement, Performance Notes, Career Snapshot, Approval Requester Dashboard, Recognition, and Digital Badging. Additionally, new dashboards have been delivered such as Personal Information, Benefits, Pay, Time that help users organize work, access role-based tasks, and review, update, or action information more efficiently. Looking forward, planned capabilities include US Federal Self Service, Citizenship, Visas, Passports, Work Permits, updating Prior Work Experience in Self Service, and a consolidated My Career Dashboard.

For managers, recently delivered capabilities include a Team Dashboard, Team Learning Dashboard, Team Recognition, Team Tuition Reimbursement, and Team Time Dashboard.
For administrators, PeopleSoft continues to invest in modern and responsive design across key HR and payroll areas. Examples of recently delivered capabilities include administrator views for Canadian Relevé forms, T4/T4A forms, US W-2 and W-2c forms, Fluid Add Person for US Federal, Manage People and Jobs dashboard, Manage Personnel Actions for US Federal, HR HelpDesk Dashboards, and a Recruiting Dashboard. Looking forward, planned administrator capabilities include a revamped Manage Hires process, Absence Event Entry, and the overall Hire process for US Federal.
For applicants, PeopleSoft is planning a modernized user experience for the employee and external job seeker with a highly configurable landing page that rethinks the experience from start to finish with a sleek look and feel. A few stand out features include configurable banners and footers, company photos and videos, featured jobs, smarter job searches, and the ability to show the number of applicants that have applied to a job. These are just a few highlights customers can look forward to with the new applicant landing page modernization.

WorkCenters and Insights Help Administrators Act Faster
Modern WorkCenters bring together reports, processes, queries, quick links, criteria and filters, work items, embedded visualizations, approvals, Insights, and work management capabilities all in one place. This helps administrators focus on the work that needs attention and take action more efficiently.
PeopleSoft is also investing in additional WorkCenters, additional Work Management capabilities, and embedded Insights. Additional WorkCenters either recently delivered or on the roadmap include Absence Management, HR, and US Federal. These capabilities are designed to give administrators more visibility into work, exceptions, approvals, and operational trends.
Insights continue to play a key role in helping users understand information and make better decisions. When Insights are embedded directly into a PeopleSoft transaction, this allows administrators to make informed decisions without leaving the transaction. Examples of recently delivered insights include Administrator Approval Insights, HR Headcount Insights, and embedded Remote Worker approval Insights. Looking forward, additional insights will be delivered around HR Movement and Transfer Insights, US Federal Personnel Actions, Canadian Year End and Embedded Insights in delivered WorkCenters.
