I joined Oracle 15 months ago to lead the Cloud HCM Product Strategy organization, and the months have flown by. Amidst all the global disruption of the pandemic, new opportunities surfaced for working, connecting, and engaging with people while the very definitions of work, the workforce, and the workplace changed. During this period, the Oracle Cloud HCM organization also delivered six new releases with hundreds of customer-driven capabilities and exciting new innovations, including:

Also during the past 15 months, leading organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, Nemours, Northwell Health, Deutsche Bahn, and Albertsons have gone live on our platform, and we’ve significantly grown our cloud customer base with the addition of amazing companies, including Mayo Clinic, Penske Truck Leasing, and Nokia.

Oracle Cloud HCM has also become one of the leading global HCM cloud suites in the industry and was recognized again by Gartner. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of its ongoing success.

To continue building on our success, commitment to innovation, and customer-first vision, I’m excited to announce that I’m growing my leadership team with the addition of Chris Havrilla.  As VP of strategy, she’ll be focused on Oracle’s talent solutions and reimagining what it takes to architect and nurture a workforce from all angles.

Chris Havrilla, VP of strategy

Chris is a seasoned, highly respected, and proven HCM leader who has received global recognition. Accolades include being named as one of HR Executive’s Top 100 HR Tech Influencers since the list’s inception, an Onalytica’s Top 25 Global Consultancies Influencer Report, and one of peopleHum’s Top 30 Women in HR Tech. Before joining Oracle, she was with Deloitte as their VP of Technology Research and Industry Advisory. Prior roles also include at ADP, where she was VP of Global HR Technology and in various consulting and internal HR practitioner positions. Her leadership experience spans product, technology, research and advisory, innovation incubation, and internal HR and IT operations.

If you know Chris, you know she’s a true futurist.  She’s continually asking the hard questions.  What is the future of work, the workforce, and the workplace? What is the future of leadership?. How about the future of management? What is the role that technology and data plays in all of this? What does all this look like in a world where the advantage is shifting toward the individual over the corporation? How do employers adjust as jobs remain unfilled and seek to provide new value propositions for workers whose priorities and definitions of success have shifted?

Flipping the traditional workforce management models from command and control to more commitment and collaboration is at the heart of durable workplaces today. Companies are rethinking talent management to focus on how all workers (employee, gig, contract, and even machines) and managers can work together to help workers and teams unlock their performance, do good work, and achieve outcomes, not just output. With her vast experience and leadership in this market, I can’t wait to see how Chris will impact the talent and workforce architecture strategies and multi-year investments for Oracle Cloud HCM and its customers.

Please join me in welcoming Chris Havrilla to Oracle and the Cloud HCM Product Strategy organization!
