Oracle Permitting and Licensing 24C was released on July 5, 2024, with many new features for each of our offerings:
Permitting and Licensing 24C includes many new Redwood Experience features enhancing and streamlining the user experience for both public users and agency staff.
This release comprises many new features including –
- Permits and Licensing Common: Redwood Experience for the Apply Page
The Redwood Experience enhances the look and feel of the Apply Page for the Permits, Planning and Zoning, and Business License apply pages. The ease of use and streamlined look gives a modern approach to find and apply for permits, business licenses and planning applications.
- Permits and Inspections: Reopen a Withdrawn Permit
Agency staff can reopen permits and planning applications in a “Withdrawn” status. This allows agency staff to reopen the withdrawn permit or planning application and continue processing rather than starting from scratch. This is in addition to reopening from an “Expired” or “Completed” status.
- Code Enforcement: Redwood Experience for Code Officer Mobile Application
As we progress with our transition to Oracle’s Redwood Experience, the Code Enforcement Code Officer Mobile Application has been rebuilt using Visual Builder Studio. The new mobile app user interface offers a sleek updated design while retaining all the state-of-the-art functionality for code officers.
The new code officer mobile eliminates the need to download a separate app from an app store for your handheld devices. You can simply access the application via the URL from both a phone and tablet as shown below:
