One of the great things about working at Oracle is its commitment to inclusion. Regardless of their role or career level, all employees can participate in various initiatives and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which support a sense of community among people with ties to various identity or affinity groups. These initiatives are a way for many employees to strengthen those bonds, contributing to greater feelings of belonging and cultures where people can thrive.

And when we say inclusion truly is at all career levels, we mean it. At Oracle, our leaders also get involved in supporting our communities internally and externally! In particular, we want to highlight a passionate group of Vice Presidents from across our organization, dedicated to active allyship for the LGBTQIA+ community. They are part of the Belonging Campaign, an initiative led by our Oracle Pride Employee Network (OPEN) ERG. The OPEN Belonging Campaign believes in the transformative power of inclusion and that diversity isn’t just a checkbox, it’s the key to enriching our organizations.

To date, we have over 80 VPs participating in the campaign, representing nearly 40% of our global organization! Each leader has pledged to support and advocate for diversity and inclusion within their lines of business and Oracle as a whole.

Here is a video compilation of some of these pledges, showcasing our collective commitment to creating a safe and thriving work environment for all, regardless of who they love or how they identify.

It’s not only pledges; VPs involved in the Belonging Campaign show their support in a variety of ways, such as hosting learning sessions during their town hall meetings, sponsoring and hosting Pride events, sharing inclusion training sessions, speaking up for the community—and so much more.
